Newt and Callista Gingrich attended the Kennedy Center Honors on December 6, 2009.

The event bestowed lifetime achievement awards upon some of today’s greatest artists for their contributions in music, acting and performance.

This year’s five recipients included Bruce Springsteen, Mel Brooks, Dave Brubeck, Grace Bumbry and Robert De Niro.
